Phi Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®
In 1998, an Interest Group of 19 women known as the “Fabulous Pearls” was formed. This group of nineteen phenomenal women became the first Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Graduate Chapter to incorporate in Newnan, Georgia. Mrs. Cynthia Finney served as the first President of Phi Pi Omega Chapter. In addition, a debt of gratitude is owed to the mentorship of the late Mrs. Juanita Byrd who was instrumental in organizing the group and supporting efforts.
